Quick, easy and cheap repairing a worn key ring hole

If your key fob works and the only problem you have is a worn hole, do yourself a huge favor and purchase this replacement case. I saved myself $75 and an hour of work at my Chevy dealership by reprogramming the computer in my 2004 Colorado just by replacing the case. By the way, it is not necessary for your GM dealer to reprogram your car if you decide to buy a completely new key. Fob, you can do it yourself in a minute, but that's another story. Go to YouTube and check it out if you're interested. But this is another story. Back to the review of this replacement cover: I had 3 key fobs for my pickup truck. Yes 3 because I've already encountered the problem of a weak plastic hole and got stuck at my Chevy dealer. Again 2 of my keychains with keyholes were worn out making it difficult to keep them on my keychain. I tried repairing one of these with a piece of wire and epoxy and it worked for a couple of months but it ended up falling apart too so I searched for a better solution and found this replacement case. I thought how could I be wrong about the price so I ordered one as a test. It arrived and I opened up my old case, took out the circuit board and batter, put it in the new case, connected two keys together and the key fob worked like a champ. It was so easy and painless that I immediately ordered another to fix my other worn case. I highly recommend these replacement covers. Oh, last comment; These new cases have a new button placket, which was nice because mine were so worn they couldn't be read.
