Received 3 5 gallon pails of apples for free but had a mental block on manually peeling and coring. Bought this slicer/corder and got to work. I've never used it so it could have been better but it did the job, no regrets. Another bonus, my SO always throws away most of the apple when she cuts it by hand [she'll never read that haha]. This apple slicer is more efficient in this regard. It will pay for itself quickly.
