I bought this phone for my elderly deaf mother hoping it would be better than her current cordless phone but it isn't. Reason one: even at high volume, it's still not as loud as your current cordless phone. Reason two: While the number keys are large and easy to see, they're stiff to press, making them difficult for those with arthritis or just those who are just physically weak. Reason three: The design of the wearable hearing aid makes it cumbersome and uncomfortable to hold. Bottom line: I'm sure there are better designed corded phones for people with disabilities, and I encourage those considering buying this phone to throw it away, even if it saves you a few bucks over similar phones.
