I was introduced to the Oz while learning how to maintain a beautiful wooden stock on a pair of collectible vintage rifles in my collection. I came across a message from a trusted, well-known master carpenter. He explained that he uses Oz and gives each new customer a bottle to help maintain the fine woods he sells. He also explained that Oz does not stain or impregnate wood like some oil-based products. For the price I was willing to try it. I tested it on a small wooden tabletop. It made it sparkle in no time. After this little test I decided to move on to my expensive vintage 1955 Winchester. The stock is in good condition, the finish is matt (a gloss finish was done by hand in 1955) but not damaged. One Coat of Oz and the stock was like new. It didn't damage the original finish, didn't wash off the paint etc. Just wiped clean, let dry and buffed my hands VERY lightly with a Turkish towel. I am convinced of the product.
