Although these sunglasses don't look dark, they feel very good. I usually wear a 2.25 but this 2.00 allows me to see well. I assume that with less power my eyes become less sluggish or less dependent on more powerful lenses. I've read that you don't need that much magnification with the blue light block, which seems to be true, at least to me.
