Review on πŸ”§ Motion Pro 08-0143 Hydraulic Brake Bleeder: An Efficient Solution for Brake Maintenance by Bill Wieser

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best brake tool I've ever bought

This little thing works great! I've used a bleeder valve in the past but was concerned that some people say the bleeder valve forces more air into the brake fluid, which draws more air and moisture into the fluid. It is best to press the brake pedal or bleed the bleed fittings. A vacuum would be nice, but the initial setup takes a lot more work. The instructions state that this check valve does not work with air, only brake fluid, but on empty systems you can still pump the pedal until the fluid comes out and let the drain run. side pipe into a container with brake fluid below. This way you only suck in liquid and no air. If you have liquid in the lines, this is completely unnecessary. Did all 8 bleeder screws on a Brembo car with little effort. I have every confidence in this little check valve, I hope it lasts a long time. Washed down with plain green paint and then some PB Blaster to prevent rust or anything. Throw away what you have used after each braking job. The supplied hose clamp is useless, but you don't need it either. Another great trick for compressing pistons is to first open the air vent and then insert each brake piston. Fluid exits through this check valve instead of fighting every other brake piston. It makes life MUCH easier and doesn't push old fluid back up the brake lines or risk overfilling your reservoir.

  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some negative
