GOOD IN MANUAL, TERRIBLE IN APP

I love this lamp set, it's perfect for a small home studio or studio space, it works very well and the manual settings are really good and full of detailed color options ranges and types of color palettes. As good as the sounds in manual mode and the good quality of the light itself, so far so good, the light control app is terrible and that's why I'm only giving it one star. Not intuitive enough, has a few bugs in UI design and screen layout, the option to save scenes or different colors for the lamp doesn't work, or if it somehow works, it's not easy to figure out how it works. There is no connection to other smart devices such as Google Home or Alexa. At least it might have IFTTT integration, but no, it's not installed in their app. IFTT would be the best as it opens up so many integration possibilities. For example. I'm a YouTuber and I have several shows on my channel, each using different background colors. Part of my setup is done with the Hue lights built into El Gato's Stream Deck, and with the push of a button I can adjust the colors in multiple instances spread across my small home studio. If this app could support IFTTT I could program them to follow the same logic and it would save me a ton of time setting up a different profile every day for a different show I have. It's not the cheapest solution on the market, but offers really good hardware quality and features for the price, I would give 5 stars if it was possible to save the light scene collections in the app and at least connect to IFTTT right away.

Pros
  • Continuous light output
Cons
  • Quality
