Review on Palram Mona Cat Kennel: Small to Medium Cat Tent with Escape Door, Outdoor House & Shelter – Waterproof by Jolett Schneider

Very light. At first I didn't like the way it looked. When I put it on the outside of the house I really appreciated how it blends into the windows and doesn't stand out like other cat houses we've tried. It looks very stylish, modern and reserved. The size is much larger than other cat houses. The roof is sloped which is good for rain. The house is slightly elevated, which is important when there is snow. There is a canopy to protect the front door from the elements. I'm concerned about how this will perform on windy days. I've had it for over a month now and haven't had any problems with it yet. There are two doors to keep your outdoor cat comfortable. I agree with the description that it comfortably sleeps two small cats or an *extra* small dog. They really thought of everything with this cat house. I really like that there is a place for the heating pad power cord. That was always a problem with my other cat house. This cat house protects well against bugs and bad weather. Cats take some getting used to. I left it outside for them to study and hopefully get used to by winter. Doors are removable. The assembly was annoying and took a while. The end product was worth it. It's really cool how I can see if there are cats in the house. Cats feel more secure when they can see the outside world. Update: while I love this house, my street cats are still not used to it. They just don't use it like I thought they would. Will be updated when it changes. Update 2: The house does really well in insanely strong winds despite being so light. It must have something to do with how it's built. Also, my outdoor cat loves the house now that I've raised it up. He's sitting on our hot tub. He just lies there and watches the birds!
