We bought them so that our Vesti doesn't lick its paws. They are pretty easy to put on and take off. The small rubber pads allow her to walk around the house normally and she can still jump up and down on the couch without slipping. I've washed and tumble dried them in a laundry bag many times and they're still going strong. We have since bought another pair.
