This monitor is fantastic - its colors are accurate and its brightness is second to none. I didn't need a recording feature, so Shinobi was the obvious choice, especially considering the prices of other "professional" monitors (given your SmallHD). I'm very happy with the inclusion of Shinobi in my setup. A few things that immediately bother me after a few sessions: - The menus are nicer than most monitors I've used, but are still a bit clunky. . Come on guys, can't we hire a UX consultant for one of these things? For the first Atomos user, scrolling wasn't obvious and the information hierarchy was a bit messy. Why is there no rule of thirds here? It doesn't seem difficult to place something next to the crop preview. - The first unit I ordered AND the replacement unit had a green pixel on the monitor in various places. Factory reset, other cables, other inputs did not solve the problem. Possibly a quality control issue.
