I was looking for an inexpensive do-it-yourself tint for my office windows, both to block out some of the light (I have 3 large windows next to my computer ) as well as doing that so people can't just look at me. This tint blocks some of the light coming through. So if you're looking for a privacy tint that doesn't block the light, this isn't for you. (But to be honest, I don't think there's any type of screen protector or tint to see through that doesn't also reduce the amount of light coming in.) Installation was difficult and my tint doesn't look perfect. (Despite a lot of effort, it's very difficult to completely balance the shadow) but since this is just my office, I'm not too worried. If you really want it to look perfect or professional then you either need an extra pair of hands or the confidence that you can do it yourself or maybe consider hiring a professional to do the tinting for you.
