This is a tshirt material so it is not warm. The zipper is backed so that it doesn't scratch the skin which is a huge plus. The material is a little scratchy so you probably want to wash prior to wear. I wish I had sized up because, although the fit seems spot on, I actually wanted a little more roominess. It is slightly tight in the shoulders. If it shrinks at all in the wash, it won't be comfortable anymore so I will line dry. If you have a large bust size, I would definitely size up. Overall, it is really cute though!
