. So after ordering a pair of "imported" black balaclavas a few weeks ago that I was embarrassed to buy and wear, I went in search of an alternative "made in America". I didn't like the "terrorist" look of the balaclava, so I was looking for something that didn't cover my entire head. After typing "made in America" into the search bar, Revain stopped searching for me and suggested "American made face masks." And that's how I came across this article. The design is a bit wild so I went with the tamest one, Tonal American Flag with Eagle. It looks completely gray in the picture, but in reality it's more of a mix of blue and gray. Why grey? Well I had a friend who was in his 70's who knew a lot about clothes. When he was young and rich, he had clothes made to order. From time to time he would teach me about clothes. This gray goes with any color. If you just close your eyes and choose a color that goes well with gray, you will "see" that this is true. I received this neck gaiter in the mail a few hours ago and here's what I have to say for now. The seams on the sides are hard to find as they almost blend into the rest of the fabric. You can find them by touch, not by sight. They're just a little tighter than elsewhere. Pretty impressive! As I feel the need to measure everything for reasons I don't fully understand, I can give you the measurements. The gaiters are 9" wide and a whopping 18" long. That length comes in handy when fitting it to your face. I kind of freaked out when I put it on for the first time. I may have cursed out loud. Why ? Well the first time I put it on my nose it started sliding right down and I thought I screwed it up with another inappropriate face covering. The solution was simple enough. Drag more material over your face and then place it over your nose. The problem is solved. He stayed where he was as much as I wanted. As for the claim that it doesn't warm your face, I thought I'd check it out. about 72 degrees. Absolutely no problem in this heat. Since it proved nothing, I decided to take a quick walk in this thing. I checked the weather and it was 82 degrees. Minutes in the shade I changed course to full sun on my face. And like I said, I didn't feel any discomfort. Another tick in favor of this neck gaiter. .Fits easily in your back pocket.Only one thing bothers me about this product. itching at both ends. It appears to have been cut off at both ends with a paper cutter. it rolls by itself. So there is no immediate reason to worry about it. Let's see if this becomes a problem in the future or not. It might be damn strong, but it just sucks. This is my only complaint and the only reason I'm deducting a star. Very happy with this purchase. I hope I've helped you make a decision. RECOMMENDED Good luck!
