I bought this seat for a forklift that is not used very often. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a seat and this is one of the cheapest I've seen. It came disassembled which is good, but putting it together was a little more difficult than it should have been. The back of the seatback and the underside of the seat are metal pallets into which a piece of plywood covered with foam and fabric slides. The side brackets are then bolted to the seat pan and the metal pan on the back of the seat. The bolts go through the bracket, through the seat pan, and then into nuts welded to the inside of these metal pans. The nuts did not line up perfectly with the hole in the seat pan, making it difficult to thread the bolt directly into the nut. However, once I got the bolt in the first few turns of the nut, I was able to get the bolts all the way in with some effort. The sliding brackets that attach to the tractor's seat frame and then to the seat itself, and allow the seat to be adjusted forward or backward, are made of fairly thin metal. I'm not sure how long it will last once it's set very strong, but I think we'll see. Overall I was looking for a place that was relatively cheap and it was. It's cheaper than the supplied Tractor versions, but probably won't last as long as these. If you're looking for something cheap that won't be used every day, this is probably the way to go.
