It seems to be made of durable fabric. I've only had it for a few months so time will tell how it works. The rain seems to seep through the fabric where it makes contact with the car. The top of the golf cart is quite wet when I remove the lid, but the rest of the cart is dry. The top is badly faded considering it was in the sun for such a short time. It's easy to slip on and off and stays secure with an elastic hem at the bottom and a strap that runs under the trolley. Pulling the strap through from below can be a problem if there's nothing to hook it to to pull it from side to side. I use an RV awning pole, but a golf club or anything with a hook will work too. The side zip is a nice feature that I didn't initially think I would ever use, but it turned out to be handy when I had to leave things in the cart after it was covered. I have it on an EZ Go with a short roof flip up rear seat. There's plenty of room in the lid for those with an extended roof over the rear seat. In general, for such a price, I like the case, I recommend it.
