Poor quality good for oil system tools
I'm only giving this filter wrench 1 star because it didn't fall apart completely. I borrowed a US made Plews 70-715 filter wrench from an elderly neighbor several times before buying one. The quality difference was day and night compared to a newer foreign key. The cam mechanism that causes the wrench's jaws to open and close slips off very easily when trying to remove the filter, even if just installing it manually. Save some money and consider other options.
- Removed 2 way filter wrench and installed oil filter
