ABN Round Brushes are essentially the same as regular brushes with two exceptions. The quality of materials is much higher. Your regular roller brush is made of semi-rigid nylon bristles (which can scratch). Of course the same can happen with wool if it's not properly oiled etc. But you won't see people washing the paint on their machine with a semi-rigid nylon brush. You see people wearing woolen mittens. The same principle applies. The vast majority of wheels are either painted alloy or aluminium, usually also clear coated, with a few exceptions (although both materials are prone to scratching). Another important difference is the ability to retain lubricants such as soap. These hairs hold a huge amount of soap and water. This equates to a reduced risk of scratches as well as a longer shelf life for the product you choose. All in all a great product, two thumbs up. Definitely recommend.
