I bought this product for several specific purposes and it has worked really well. I use it to have a clipboard setting when I'm knitting intricate patterns, when I'm reading big books that are awkward to hold, and I really enjoy using it for planning. I'm a pen/planner person and it's nice to have a large workspace. And the main reason I bought it was that the iPad keyboard was completely unusable when I was sitting on the couch, and let's face it, most people don't sit right down at a desk to use an iPad. This portable desk is great for hobbies, laptops/tablets and writing. That's a deal too. I'm very happy with it and it's easy to hide from sight. I just stick it under the sofa.
