I take care of my elderly grandmother who sleeps in another part of my house. Due to her age and medical condition it is imperative that I have an emergency contact form in case she becomes ill or injured when I am out of earshot. This system is as easy as hooking it up - they come with everything you need to get started right away. The included batteries are long-lasting (non-rechargeable). The two transmitters are waterproof, so you can wear them in the kitchen or bathroom without hesitation. The two receivers can be plugged into different locations and easily moved from room to room if you want to make sure you don't miss an emergency. Changing alerts is fun because there are so many different tones to choose from. The transmitters can be worn around the neck, hung from a keychain, or even surface mounted like I did my grandmother's when I attached one to the outside of her bathtub. This kit comes with 3M adhesive pieces so you can stick them on the surface if you want. They have a long reach and easily go from one end of my top floor to the other end of the bottom floor of my house. The alarm volume is also adjustable. I highly recommend this set if you are a caregiver of sorts or just want a reliable and easy way to relay an alarm to another family member around the house in an emergency.
