I like this powder and the look it gives but sometimes it doesn't stick to my top coat. I do not know why. Maybe it's a brand. Maybe it's because of the thickness or thinness of the top coat, maybe because of the curing time. However. I can try coloring the coat as another reviewer described. BUT I was recently looking for a holographic pink nail polish that I just made. I wanted to apply regular polish after the gel top but I couldn't find the Northern Lights or any other bottle of Color Pop I have. What I did was pour some regular gel top onto a silicone pad (I always paint my nails on a silicone pad but anything goes) and use my scraper to pick up a small pile of this powder and mix it together. . It has evolved into the PERFECT holographic topcoat. I used an almost empty capped bottle so I didn't care if it had glitter in it. You can add a little or a lot of glitter to the mix, or even sprinkle more directly onto your wet, top-coated nail for gradients and more. Then I cured it like I would any top coat. I will post a photo but please forgive me it's just my quickly painted natural nails!
