Wow I was impressed with the excellent price. The advantages of this material are smooth, moderate amount of spatter, already very little, burns hot. Cons, it lays down a lot of material quickly and burns pretty hard. I had to reset the welder settings more than expected. This gives good penetration but can easily burn out. You need to move at incredible speeds due to its high build and heat properties. This isn't bad for experienced welders, but I think it can make learning difficult. Puddle control is a little different. So far bad isn't that bad, minimal slag and good penetration make it worth it. The spatter isn't great, I've seen a lot worse on more expensive wire, it's flux so expect spatter. All in all, you can't go wrong for the price. So far I've effectively welded 3/8 steel in one pass, cast exhaust manifolds, exhaust pipes and other occasional tractor and farm equipment.
