We are Halloween fanatics. I was very excited when I saw this piece because there is nothing else like it on the market. Unfortunately that wasn't enough for us. For the high price I was expecting something of better quality. Here's a list of things that just don't hit the mark: - Once the stem is locked into place it can't be removed, meaning it won't fit in the box and is more difficult to stow, which is annoying with a long storage period, 11 months a year. - If you use this item in the dark, you can clearly see the square of light coming from the projector. - The volume is not nearly loud enough at the highest level. That's the most disappointing aspect for me. The power cord is very short, 2 feet maximum. This item is not waterproof and cannot be used on the porch. before unplugging it, which led me to believe there might be problems in the future. What if the electricity goes out? The pumpkin has a few sweet songs, but overall I wouldn't pay more than $70 for this item if I knew I could get it.
