Thick, durable material, no pungent odor. We didn't expect perfection these are not laser mats but they are very nice and match our speedo well. I had to cut quite a bit. We left the excess on our 3rd row seats just to give extra protection, we could trim everything if we wanted to, we also cut out 3 bars on the bottom of the seat to allow it to fit and slide better under. It's humped in the middle because we keep it folded, we don't always use our 3rd row.
