2006 Chevy Silverado

I purchased this product to use as the upper rear shock absorber on the driver's side of a 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 hd. This is a very useful mount, I think it would be better if it was made of a slightly thicker material. It will definitely work, the question is how long will it last?
