In general, they are suitable for use. Having just got them I don't know how good the battery life is or how long lasting they are, both important factors for me in a PS3 controller. I currently have a couple of Sony PS3 controllers that behave erratically when you apply torque to the controller itself (which is easy to do by holding it while playing) and I've had to replace them. I also wanted different colors so each of my children would have their own color to be responsible for. These kolopki seem to work for this purpose. I also haven't had a chance to test how well Sixaxis works. Here are my first observations after using them (hardly) for the first weekend: Pros: - They fit perfectly in my Dream Gear Quad Dock (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001FWK340/ref= oh_aui_search_asin_title ?ie =UTF8&psc=1) for loading. Their "hand feel" is very similar to Sony's controllers. Cons: - Controllers are randomly "locked" during gameplay. It rarely happens, but the controller became unresponsive for a while, and even pressing the PS3 button didn't bring up the system menu. Their range doesn't seem very large - they stopped working when I put my hands behind my head. (yes I play like that sometimes) - I had to re-pair one of them with my PS3 via cable after it shut down due to inactivity - their charging lights are always on and blinking while in the charger - even fully charged afterwards. The dual shock vibration feels a little weak compared to what I'm used to.
