When I first received these pants, I was a freaked out by the fabric and immediately planned to return them. The fabric has a very odd hand. I decided give them a try and wore them to run errands. Although, for me (I'm 5'6"), they aren't really ankle pants - they are a little too long - they are fine for goofing around.Because of the fabric feel and the length, I probably will not order another pair, but if you are OK with the fabric and length, they seem to be well constructed and not too hot (like some other synthetic knit fabrics tend to be). Also, maybe a little too close to the "mom jeans" side in their styling.
