pillow is really soft and bigger than i thought i am 5ft 11in it's about knee length. So here's something: Yes, the filling isn't as stuffed as you might like, but it's a $40 pillow. So if you want it to be thick and firm, you can stuff it yourself. I didn't care. As soon as I lay in it, I felt a difference in comfort. I didn't turn over that often when I slept. Yes, it can be hot, this is a velvet pillow, not a cooling pillow. Yes, you might feel trapped because it's shaped like a C for you to snuggle into, but that's what I bought it for, just so the open side faces the bed. Total cost $40, I sleep better, I feel better and that's all that matters.
