Bought to try and add a second external monitor to my teenager's Chromebook - the first/only HDMI port is already in use. Terribly failed. Would you like to use it with Windows? Connect - it is defined as a storage device when it is first connected. This external device contains an installation file in order for this device to work - you must navigate there and run the .exe file. From what I've read you get a working monitor with marginal picture quality. Want to use it with a Chromebook? sorry no If your Chromebook is a bit older and doesn't have USB-C ports (like mine), you're in the ditch. I rated it low because competitors on Revain actually claim their Chromebook isn't compatible. but I think that claim that it supports Windows XP should have been my first red flag.
