Excellent lightweight storage containers. We use them on the top shelf of our pantry to hold paper items (like party plates) and Christmas decorations. Most of our fun party plates fit perfectly vertically! (Same goes for napkins.) They're great for the top shelf because they're not too heavy. They help protect things inside from dust. I figured they might fit on the top shelf of my closet; but they were a little high. Our changing rooms have two rows of shelves and hangers. I think the ceiling is lower due to the attic access. I thought they could also make nice sweater boxes, storage for hats, purses and accessories. I am ordering more for our front cabinet. They are quite strong and snap together easily. The handles are pretty strong too. I like that they have a velcro valve and no separate lid to fall off. I'm not tall and I often try to grab things without a step stool. I had several hats that hit my head. Safety first.
