Update: The seller has provided tech support to help me resolve and understand the issue below. So the water in Las Vegas is one of the areas of hardness problems that has caused these filters to fail. Therefore, the seller has provided a prepaid label and return box for this system. They also fully refunded my purchase and asked me to revise my one star rating to better reflect their positive working relationship. They also advised that a reverse osmosis system would be the right choice for further water filtration in Las Vegas. Hope that helps! First check: Looks like this filter isn't working anymore. I bought these for my swamp coolers because Las Vegas City water contains a lot of sediment. When they were first installed in late July they didn't seem to show any buildup on my sump cooler parts and filters. I clean my system about every week for up to 10 days. Today was cleaning day and the buildup is worse than ever. So I pulled out my sediment tester and it showed 26.7 for my kitchen, cold water running through a 3 year old filter, while tested hot water coming straight from my bathroom faucet and delivering tap water showed 28.1. No big difference. It's only been about 2 months and I've been using about 6 gallons a day max. Even at 10 gallons a day for 60 days, that's only 600 gallons. ? I bought a couple of your filters including 2 systems and replacement filters for each. They are used in my kitchen sink and laundry tub which also powers my fridge. I am willing to test them to make sure they are working properly if you have test strips you can send me. Otherwise, current symptoms and signs indicate a problem; From my point of view, this is a very big, costly and annoying problem. Please advise. I am waiting for your reply. -Maria
