We have a 42 inch TV and I didn't really think it would stay in place. It held in place for a while but that bothered me because the stand wasn't as stable and I preferred it a little higher. I wanted to add a soundbar but my soundbar was interfering with the TV remote as it was blocking all the buttons and the remote light. This fixed both issues. I was able to mount my TV on it quickly and easily, lift the TV OVER the soundbar and still have my remote access to the TV without interference. A plus? He is very stable. The base is large and stable and cannot "accidentally" fall off. I am thrilled - absolutely great product.
