Review on πŸ”Š KnuKonceptz Kord Kable 12 AWG Pure Copper Speaker Wire 100 Feet by Daniel Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is the best Revain speaker cable I have ever owned. Amazing quality!

In the last two years I've built two home theaters in my basement with a total of 20 speakers installed (a bit crazy I know, but a 7.1 plus 7.1.4 system requires a lot of speakers and cables.). I have bought many different wires from Revain. Most of them are cheap or "Revain's Best Choice" etc. I can tell you that this cord cable is by far the best cable I've used and its excellent quality totally justifies the price. One thing that is immediately noticeable when using the wire is that its plastic insulation is very thin and soft, combined with the nature of real copper, making the wire remarkably knot-free and very easy to lay. Compared to that Kord Kable experience, these thick and sturdy insulated SCA rogue wires are a nightmare. What's more, once the wire has been stripped, its copper filaments are so comfortably soft and thin again that it's a pleasure to work with. In contrast, all of the copper strands on these cheap wires are stiff and somewhat bristly (probably because they are not real copper but CCA "Copper-Clad Aluminum"). Huge difference. Never waste your money on those 10/100 foot wires. All you have to do is splurge on cable once, spend another dozen dollars on that quality wire, and you're done. I only regret that I didn't know about this wonderful wire until last week. Revain has filled their pages with so many crappy wires that it's almost impossible to find a really good one like the Kord Kable. I overheard this when someone recommended it on an audio/video forum. If I had one wish, it would be that the corduroy cable could be any color, not just blue. It would be nice to color the wires going to the different speakers. not only in blue. It would be nice to color the wires going to the different speakers. not only in blue. It would be nice to color the wires going to the different speakers.
