Review on Swiffer Dusters Dusting Kit with 28 Refills, Starter Handle included - Pack of 29 by Sally Dickson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Useful, but not GREAT, as Tony Tiger might have yelled at fifty.

I bought the yellow heavy versions for comparison. I like yellow best. I also take them out, by the way, and shake or bang them against the metal rod we have in the backyard for the rain sensor, a relic from an old birdhouse from the fifties when the house was custom built by a local sawmill family. Anyway, this is my year-round way of dusting off the trunk. So yeah, you can knock a lot of dust out of those blues and yellows on that bar and come back for maybe some more dust collecting. Living in a 17 and 24 foot open plan log house with all wood walls and wood ceiling, there is a lot of dust in the house. And the dust is never finished. So I'm always on the lookout for real wool rags and fake rags and now paper rags like that stuff too. And they all serve their purpose and work best in specific niches. What I liked about them is the use of bars at 90 degrees, there is a double bar and I have them too. This allows me to wipe down the tops of our wooden CD and DVD cabinets in one of our hallways in the three story house. No ladder or stool for it. This works better than the wool versions because they are thinner and the wool is too thick to fit well on the top shelf. They also work well for finding books on library shelves and on those shelves. There are 5 stars everywhere. But not a fan of the throwaway world and the tracking issues of these gas stations. Maybe this is a sign that the pandemic has ruined the trade, but I'm not sure. But I will continue to use and buy it. Just not my number one favorite topic. What are woolen rags. I've had some good faux wools, but they almost always break. Wool also dissolves over time but is still my favorite for holding the power of dust and getting under sofas, dressers, etc. They're not good for getting into tighter spaces and definitely not that good for running. like knick-knacks. Think of the TV commercial that shows this. We don't have jewelry for the most part, we have CATS. Maybe you have jewelry or cats. We choose cats. Which reminded me that they also add dust. I know my review is unlikely to be helpful. I see how they may work best for people with much less dust and more modern homes, and who have fewer books and items on their wall shelves. They also work well in the fridge and under freestanding microwave ovens as they're thin enough to fit in some of those crevices. HAPPY DUST. Oh no HAPPY vacuum cleaner. Be safe everyone.
