After doing enough research on gaming pads and joysticks I looked at many brands including but not limited to 8bitdo, console controllers, X Arcade , Hori, Razer Panthera, standard models Mayflash and others. I also reviewed the Mayflash's design versus other gaming pads and joysticks to find the best ergonomic design, dimensions, and weight. As soon as I found the MayFlash F500 Elite, I was quickly hooked. Although the price was higher than I wanted to spend, I am very happy with my purchase. I like the larger design of the F500 Elite compared to the F300 Elite as it helps avoid the joint issues I experienced. has recently returned to the game. Compared to other Mayflash models, there is more space around the joystick part on the left, which helps prevent joint problems. I can use this joystick while gaming in my living room chair or at my desk without feeling that the joystick breaks easily. or twitch due to its solid weight. It weighs 11 pounds, which is about the size of a small baby. In other words, the device doesn't slide into your lap or onto your desk. The body construction is durable and high quality. The size of the joystick is important because I have room on my game joystick to rest my hands on it when needed to prevent joint fatigue. the function is great too. I like the Elite because it comes with Sanwa keys so I didn't have to swap them out like I did on the standard F500. I'm not into fighting games where I would enter a tournament with it, so I can't speak to its effectiveness in that area. I also like the joystick's ability to work with other controllers (requires separate purchase of adapter) to work). The Xinput function is great for PC and Raspberry Pi games. The ability to customize the image is a plus if I choose to do so in the future. The only feature I wish this joystick had was wireless.
