I have a very warm attitude towards WD products, because after the netbook fell from about the height of a chair to the floor, the hard drive remained intact. Yes, and with regular not very accurate carrying and small bumps on the table, when you sharply put the netbook, there were no problems. There are no problems with an external USB HDD My Passport 1Tb either. And now there is another laptop with a hard one from WD.

Pros

I took it to a regular home computer and under the system and files. We needed volume and reliability. I really want to believe that it will work as long as the old Maxtor STM on 80Gb, which was replaced, only because of the volume (about 8-9 years). Having read about all sorts of high-frequency squeaks and vibrations in the Blue series (WD10EZEX), I was even more convinced that I would rather take the Red series. There is no drawback in the form of a speed of 5200 rpm. I never understood those who install an SSD, just to make the OS boot in a few seconds and write about it wherever possible.
