Oh my god this little bowl is so pretty and has made my life so much easier. The yarn does not roll around the house and does not get dirty. He does it all very nicely too. It's a little LESS; than I thought, but I solved this problem in a simple way. I like to use 1lb strands which, YES I think they are a pretty good size. SO I put the skein on the END and put it in the bowl and then take the end of the yarn in the middle and thread it through the guide on the side of the bowl then I put the bowl in the bag, yarn and all. Then I tighten the rope from the bag, but not tight around the ball of yarn and tie it in a bow so it can be untied if necessary. And voilà, problem solved. I love this little bowl of problem solving.
