Bought for use with Mac laptop with USB-C ports and various Windows computers with regular USB ports. The capacity is great for me and the form factor is tiny. It's so small that I'm glad it has a metal loop as I need to attach it to something (or attach something to it) so I don't lose it. It worked with my Mac laptop (USB C) and various other Windows and Mac computers with standard USB ports. The only problem I've had so far is that the transfer speed is sometimes much slower than expected, sometimes slowing down to 10-15 seconds almost to a complete standstill. I've also noticed that the drive gets very hot when transferring files for a long period of time. I suspect if it gets too hot it will slow down file transfers or stop temporarily until it cools down to a safe temperature. This can be a problem when transferring large files as it can slow them down significantly. Overall I'm still pretty happy with the drive and the transfer speed issue is just annoying. But if you need to transfer gigabytes of files on a regular basis and you need it very fast, I would look for a different drive.
