First of all I was impressed with how durable it was made, it has a thick PE film on top and a metal ring/hook so the birds can't chew through it! It's big enough for two or three parrots to rest on. So far my birds have hated all swing bars because they are so thick and strong that they feel safe swinging. Climb the sides and even sleep on the hoop at night. It usually takes my picky birds a few days to even touch a new toy or perch, but they love it right away. This is probably because they are used to rope poles. Great purchase and I am sure this perch will last as it is so well made!
