Very short lifespan
average lifespan 8000 hours? Hmm, that means someone out there should be getting about 15,000 hours of this because the longest of the three I bought was less than 900 hours. The first burned out after a few months, the third only today. I thought they were great as long as they lasted. I like the slow warm-up time, which a previous reviewer complained about. It's nice when the light gradually appears when I wake up! But otherwise a waste of money for a short lifespan.
