Review on πŸ’§ BETOOLL Reach Clamp Pliers Water - Efficiently Secure and Fasten Water Connections by Sean Powers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Better than pliers. Not for professional technicians. You get what you pay for.

This set is a good choice if you only use it occasionally and are more mechanical. My expectations were a bit higher for the price paid, but were mostly met. If you are a professional auto mechanic I would ditch this set and spend the extra money on a Snap On, Craftsman or MAC. That's enough, but in some cases you're wasting time messing around with tools to get them working. There were no instructions on what tool to use for what type of clamp, so you'll have to figure it out yourself. A small, one-page instruction manual detailing which tool to use for which type of clamp would also be helpful. The crotch was too big to keep the yoke open in the position I needed. It was still a lot easier than the vise pliers. Other clamping tools had similar problems. I suspect this was due to the cheap stamped steel construction of these tools, but they worked. If you only occasionally need to remove/replace hoses on vehicles with constant tension hose clamps, this kit is great value and will save you quite a bit. time and disappointment. Otherwise, I would look for a more robust tool kit.
