This makeup kit is amazingly compact, but it contains SO MANY eyeshadow colors - 120 - plus 40 lip balm colors, some blush, face powder and tools. Unlike many other sets that come in metal boxes, it's easy to transport. This is really mainly for the person who loves eyeshadow. In any type of finish there are many shades from light to very deep. Shimmery eye creams work great alone or layered over powder eyeshadow. There's also a wide range of lip balm colors, but they're not very pigmented or long-lasting. There are enough blushes and highlighters, but they are nothing special. However, the shadows are smooth and of fairly good quality. They allow a person to experiment with shades and textures, mix colors and find looks that they like. this kit. Now that I know how they look on me I will be buying higher quality singles in a few shades. For experimentation, this kit includes everything for the eyes plus some for the lips and some for the face. If you love eye shadows, this is the set to buy. The rest is a nice addition.
