Didn't buy for toiletries. I bought it to keep track of all my electronic devices and my three children's electronic devices when traveling. We'll be on 13 different planes this summer and I absolutely can't take my eyes off these items. I needed something that breaks items into parts so I can easily understand if something is missing. The top compartment (mesh and zip) contains an external charger and speaker. All cables, chargers and power supplies fit in the middle compartment (made of transparent plastic and with a zipper). The bottom compartment (NOT transparent but also zipped) holds earplugs/headphones and airplane adapters. Such a case makes TSA checking easier as everything is in one case (or two) and everything is zipped so nothing can fall out or get lost. It also helps on the plane itself because you can just pull out the suitcase (or 2) and have everything you need right there with you. No more accidentally stuffing a backpack, purse, or zip pocket like I've done in the past. But things get lost or forgotten, and of course when you want to use them again, they have fallen to the bottom of the bag or become hopelessly tangled in another item. This case will prevent all of that. We also had issues with devices and headphones in the back of the seat. If you take out that suitcase and quickly scan it, it'll be much easier to tell if something's missing BEFORE you step off the plane! The third has three main compartments and a zippered mesh flap. The compartments are on the smaller side. I can't put my iPad in this case. My Kindle paperwhite also fits snugly in the 2nd and 3rd compartments, but fits perfectly in the top one. However, they would fit a Nintendo DS or two. The only thing I really don't like is the lack of a handle in the zipped pocket. The case itself is very sturdy and well made. I'm glad I bought this item.
