This thing heats up very quickly and is quiet, but as a table heater it fails in one important way. The fan isn't big enough to push the air forward, and the heat causes it to rise quickly. I need it to blow on my desk to warm my hands, but if I put it a comfortable distance the heat goes straight up. For it to warm my hands it has to be too close and one hand gets too hot and feels like it's being cooked. If you're looking for something on the floor this is probably a good choice, but I'd probably recommend something with a big fan since it's small.
