I received the front panel today and immediately noticed the difference in quality. The color is silver, but not as silver as the Hero4. If, like me, you ordered this because your bezel was cracked and you just wanted to replace that part, you won't be able to use the original "mode" button with the new bezel. This bezel only fits the included mode button, which is a shame as the included mode button doesn't have the original's little black gasket to keep out dust and dirt. Before I go further, I didn't know that the keys are not interchangeable, so i put a new bezel on the original button which didn't work because the original button is too big. This new bezel pushes the button down to keep it on. So I remove the faceplate and use the knob that comes with the kit. After installing it, I use hero4 and find that I have to forcefully press the mode button to get it to turn on and off and switch modes. I didn't like it because I didn't want to damage my Gopro camera by repeatedly hard-pressing the mode button. So I figured I'd just put the original bezel and button back on. I was about to pull this new one off and one of the tabs breaks off and gets stuck in hero4. He falls on his back and is lost inside.
