Review on Versatile Threaded Female to Male Fitting Adapter: the Perfect Coupling Solution by Brent Porter

was surprised to learn that NPT threaded fittings are only used in the US and Canada. The rest of the world uses BSP (British Standard Pipe). Well, I also found that the instructions translated from Chinese to English are not always crystal clear, so hooking up my new shower (there were 8 fittings) was a bit of trial and error due to the shower bypass/mixing valves had a parallel (BSPP). Thread and devices (rain shower, waterfall, manual) where BSPT (conical). So I found these which were perfect for my application but again due to poor instructions it was a trial and error experiment to figure out what I needed. I ended up buying more adapters than I needed and therefore had to return the ones I didn't need. Everything worked out in the end, but next time I'll buy an American brand (probably also made in China, but at least by US standards).
