Review on Harbor Breeze Universal Ceiling Control Appliances by Keith Saywon

I've installed two of these so far and they work great with my fans. I bought 3 of these from Lowes who sell them for less than $10 each (until 6/23/2016). The third one I bought was apparently sent back as it had no bolts or nuts. I didn't worry about the price. It turns out that medium and high don't work here. I don't know if the previous owner installed it incorrectly and burned it, or if the manufacturer said it was defective. I like the fact that the fan control is harder to move than the lighting control, which prevents accidental fan speed changes. if you want to adjust the light. I have 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs in all my lights and the dimmer works great with them. Installing it on one of my fans was very easy as it was already properly wired and connected. My other two fans had the wiring in place, but I had to remove the fans to connect them properly. It took extra time but I'm so glad the installers had the foresight to run the correct wiring to the fans to have a dual switch/control. I hope they last, but they don't seem to be as reliable as the switches I removed. The time will show.
