Good, solid. stable table stand. I wouldn't call it a travel tripod as it's relatively short. If anything, it's very heavy for a table top, but for me it's a plus that adds stability and gives more confidence that an expensive camera is less likely to tip over. For now the collar locks seem to be working fine and keeping the legs in place. so they don't slip. Comes with a very lightly lined camo canvas pouch to protect in transit or when not in use. One star deducted as the spirit levels are pretty much just for looks and quite a distance when tested at a small carpenter level. I would add a star if I could get a replacement mounting plate/head that had the bubble levels working properly. Update: Still a good little tripod with a ball head and leg rings that lock the position securely. I would probably deduct 1/2 star for the level issue if it were resolved. I love it so much I'm buying a second one so I can set one up all the time for specific static uses where I don't have to spend time adjusting my legs and head every time. In the meantime, unless I'm lucky enough to get a good working bubble level this time, I guess I'll have to keep everything even.
