I bought this after I got the aligners. The pull tool my orthodontist provided was good, but it didn't fit my case and I wanted something smaller. I like the PUL tool - it's effective at removing aligners and its "hook" is smooth enough that I don't pierce my gums with it. I figured it would be more efficient to have gum on the tool so I don't have to carry a separate one, but I found the gum on the PUL tool to be too hard for my comfort. I'll probably stick with this brand, but just take the tool.
