Review on Rongdafeng Building Stacking Toddlers Development by Adrienne Phillips

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We love these unique blocks and find them very valuable.

If your child's bedroom has a budding Egyptologist (or just plain nerd parents), these bricks are incredible. As with other blocksets, there are square and rectangular shapes, but there are also unique details like five-sided corner blocks and even a benben stone, allowing you to build a smooth-sided pyramid. This is a fun challenge for kids who have already mastered building towers or simple block walls. One of the best things about these blocks is that they are covered in ancient Egyptian imagery and iconography. For example, each block has images of Egyptian deities, numbers, fruits/vegetables, animals, and hieroglyphs or other Egyptian symbols. This makes it very easy to use blocks for educational purposes or to invent new games with them. Each block is made of soft silicone. They can be compressed, and when you do, each block makes a faint hiss/creak. We didn't use them as bath toys because we were concerned the insides wouldn't dry out, but if someone uses them like this the blocks will also squirt water into the tub which is great fun for toddlers. I've seen something like these blocks at our local stores so I was thrilled to find them. I studied Egyptian art in school and still have a great love for it. These blocks are great for encouraging independent play and creativity, also very suitable for kids to use for years.
