It just works! In my application much better than a hose clamp!
In my case I needed help to fix the lamp base in the tail light rubber boot. I could have used a hose clamp but it would have been a lot bigger and uglier. These clamps have a lower profile and you can tell they're tightened straight away. The included pliers will work, but if you are tightening multiple clamps on the same size fitting I recommend purchasing a ratchet clamp like those used for PE pipe. It also has a stop on the back that prevents the ear from bulging out of the clamp and clamps it more evenly.
